Wine & Dine Dinner

Thanks to our dear CG member, we scored an invitation to a lovely wine and dine dinner at Oversea PJ. Chinese food and wine? It IS a thing, really. I am not a wine expert- so I can't really comment on the wines- but the food was yummy, and I have to say the wines went well with the different courses.

What a fun night with our CG members!

SpongeBob Run!

This was our first run together as a family. The theme looked promising enough, and the T-shirts were certainly very cool! Haha.

We waited wayyyy too long for the run to start though, which meant it was really hot when we finally got moving. This was a 3km run- and the kids struggled (as did I :p). Hopefully this will not deter us from doing more family fun runs together!

Super cute stuff from the run

Petrosains

It has been a while since we visited Petrosains. The kids had fun- although I think the exhibits were largely the same. Hmmm.

Better for the kids now, as they are older and have better understanding of things. But I don't think we will be back for a while....or ever?

La Juiceria

So we finally had a meal here. It was surprisingly yummy, and yes- it felt relatively healthy!

The juices were delicious as well- even the ones with lots of vegetables in them. I think we will be seeing more of La Juiceria....

Nasi Lemak Wrap!

Yummy!

Work trip to Hong Kong (Feb 2017)

I was back again in HK for work, in Feb 2017. I decided to go over the weekend to hang out with my dear friend, R- and as you can see from these photos below, we had a whale of a time! We were being absolutely ridiculous at the Line Friends Store- it was so much fun! Haha.

Hahaha!

Guess what these are? Kitchen sponges!

We also tried this dim sum place that served 'cute' dim sum. Yummy!

'Vomiting' dim sum- this was hilarious!

Errr... these are not condoms....

It was good to be able to spend some quality time with R- catching up and praying for each other. I absolutely love that girl. Wished we lived closer to each other...

Moved to Hotel Indigo in preparation for the work phase of my trip to start- nice hotel

I also managed to catch dinner with Y, another dear friend from my university days. We had a lovely Spanish dinner, and we had a good time catching up.

Always nice to come to HK!
